A Mother's Love

As Hamad thought about tender moments in his life, he kept coming back to this image of him and his mother. His head in her lap, her hands stroking his hair. Moments of pain and hospital appointments became easier when at the end of the day they would both settle into each other. This video captures this moment, with recorded sound of a hospital layered on top of it. Juxtaposing the softness of this moment with the harsh movements and loud sounds of the hospital reconstruct the feeling had in that time of his life. Gentleness and chaos coexisting in these delicate frames.
